Real Estate Closings continue during the COVID-19 Pandemicby Ponichtera & DeNardis, P.C. on 03/25/20
We are proud to say that Ponichtera & DeNardis, P.C. remains open and will remain open, so long as we are permitted to do so during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are on the list of essential businesses in Massachusetts. Our staff is committed to being your closing law firm, and providing the same trusted work product that you are accustomed to receiving from us. We have taken all reasonable precautions to keep you, our customers, and our staff safe during this unprecedented time.
We have modified our closing procedures to keep everyone at a safe distance. We have the benefit of a sliding glass partition dividing our office staff and our waiting room. We will be doing closings with customers on one side of the glass partition, and an attorney looking on from the other side of the glass. Only two signers will be permitted in our waiting/signing area at one time. The area will be sanitized prior to the commencement of the closing, and again afterwards. All paperwork will be available for signing on a table, with tabs noting the place for signing. No physical contact will be had with the office staff or attorney during the closing, for your safety and ours. Gloves will be provided to be used while handling all closing documents. You will be required to take the new pen you use with you.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this unprecedented time. We are making changes in how we do business, so that we can continue doing business, and so you can refinance your home, or purchase or sell your home and feel safe while doing it.
